AlphaShield Global ("ASG", "We", "Us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our clients, personnel, and partners in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and international best practices (GDPR standards where applicable).

1. Information We Collect

To provide high-risk security and intelligence services, we strictly collect data on a "need-to-know" basis:

  • Personal Identification: Name, National ID/Passport Number, KRA PIN (for vetting).
  • Contact Details: Phone numbers, email addresses, physical residence/office location.
  • Biometric Data: Fingerprints and photos for access control systems and staff vetting.
  • Operational Data: Movement logs, incident reports, and threat assessments relevant to client safety.

2. Purpose of Data Processing

Your data is processed strictly for:

  • Service Delivery: Executing protective details, secure transport, and static guarding.
  • Compliance Vetting: Conducting background checks (CID Good Conduct) and due diligence.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Submitting required personnel data to the Private Security Regulation Authority (PSRA) and NSSF/NHIF/SHIF statutory bodies.
  • Emergency Response: Sharing location/medical data with emergency services (Police, Ambulance) during a crisis.

3. Data Disclosure & Sharing

ASG does not sell personal data. We disclose information only when:

  • Required by law (Court Order, National Police Service investigation).
  • Mandated by the PSRA for licensing and registration of security personnel.
  • Necessary for sub-contractor coordination (e.g., specialized K9 units or armored vehicle providers), under strict Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).

4. International Data Transfers

As a firm with U.S. and international reach, some data (e.g., for U.S. Embassy contracts or multinational clients) may be processed on secure servers outside Kenya. ASG ensures such transfers comply with Section 48 of the Data Protection Act, guaranteeing appropriate safeguards.

5. Data Security Measures

We implement "Defense-in-Depth" cybersecurity protocols:

  • Encrypted communication channels (Signal/WhatsApp Enterprise).
  • Access-controlled operational databases.
  • Physical security of hard-copy intelligence files.
  • Regular staff training on information security and social engineering.

6. Your Rights

Under Kenyan Law, you have the right to:

  • Access personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of false or misleading data.
  • Request deletion of data (subject to legal retention requirements, e.g., 6 years for tax records).
